Insurance / Financing
SCBH helps patients maximize their out of network benefits that may be available to them on their insurance policies. We will verify your insurance coverage for you prior to your admission. Verification of insurance benefits is not a guarantee of payment. A SCBH admissions specialist will review your quoted benefits, and your clinical history and then will provide you with a good faith estimate of what part of your treatment stay may likely be covered by your insurance carrier. An admissions specialist will also help you explore financial options to help you pay for the remaining costs of treatment not covered by insurance.
SCBH has insurance experts who have extensive knowledge of insurance medical necessity criteria. These experts will complete an initial precertification and ongoing utilization reviews as required by your insurance carrier throughout your treatment stay to help you maximize your available benefits.
SCBH works with many insurance providers to access out of network benefits to help fund a patient’s treatment stay. SCBH accepts and works with many top insurance carriers such as Aetna, Cigna, and United Behavioral Health.
